A death's head hawkmoth, drawn line by line in ink — the skull on its thorax and the pale eye on each wing rendered at a scale you can only reach with a 0.05mm nib.

Most moth prints you will find are photographs of pinned specimens or scans of old plates. This one was drawn by hand, and nothing had to die for the picture.

THE PRINT
Archival giclée on Fine Art textured matte paper, printed with pigment inks.
Image size 10 x 8 in, matted to 14 x 11 in — ready for a standard frame.
The frame is not included. What ships is the print in its black mat. Any frame you see in the photos is there to show scale.
Hand-signed and numbered by the artist. Edition of 100.

MADE BY HAND
Every original is drawn by hand with fine-point ink pens — some lines as fine as 0.05mm — and finished in acrylic. Nothing is generated, traced, or filtered. Each print is checked, signed and packed by me before it leaves the studio.
